Bactigas is the product we use to thoroughly sanitize the ducted heating and cooling. A balanced mix of tea tree oil and liquid carbon dioxide, Bactigas is a non-toxic and non-flammable compound that neutralizes offensive, musty and stale odors. However, Bactigas itself is odorless. It also eliminates bacteria, dust mites and fungal spores by destroying the conditions that micro-organisms thrive in.

Bactigas is applied manually. When initially dispersed, the air conditioning or
heating is turned on to help distribute the particles evenly.

Filtered air also reduces the necessity to clean blinds, paintings and electrical equipment. They can also prevent a build up of lint that can contribute to the rapid spread of fire in the home. The filters used by Duct Masters are made with the latest micro-fibre film that is fine enough to block 99% of the offending dust particles, whilst being thin and durable enough to allow free air circulation. A well maintained filter that is regularly changed or cleaned removes hazardous debris. However, before installing a filter, it is essential that the ducts are clean to begin with, otherwise the trapped matter will saturate the fresh filter immediately, reducing its efficiency
